Supervisor Election to be Held

The Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Commission will cause an election of Supervisors of the Muskingum Soil and Water Conservation District to be held in accordance with Chapter 940 of the Ohio Revised Code.
Residents or landowners, firms, and corporations that own land or occupy land in Muskingum County and are 18 years of age and older may vote for Supervisor. A non-resident landowner, firm, or corporation must provide an affidavit of eligibility, which includes designation of a voting representative, prior to casting a ballot.
There are three ways an eligible voter can cast a ballot: (1) at the annual meeting, which will take place Thursday, November 7, 2019, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at Bryan Place, 49 North Sixth Street, Zanesville Ohio; (2) at the SWCD office until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2019; or (3) vote absentee by requesting the proper absentee request forms from the SWCD office at the following address: Muskingum Soil and Water Conservation District, 225 Underwood Street, Suite 100, Zanesville, OH 43701, (740) 454-2027.
Original absentee ballot requests can only be accepted between October 17 and November 4, 2019 (no more than 21 days prior, but no later than three days prior to the election).
