The Envirsocape is a watershed model that can be used to explore the ways human actions may impact the health and quality of local waterways.
This model demonstration is offered as a classroom presentation as well as for public outreach to bring awareness to water quality and storm water runoff pollution. Contact Ashlee Kopchak at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (740) 454-2027 for more information.
There are two different kinds of pollution; non-point pollution and point source pollution.
Non-Point Pollution: Pollution is difficult to identify and trace to a single source.
Point Source Pollution: any contaminant that enters the environment from and easily identified and contained source.
